Our Ideal Client
1. Smart Entrepreneur. Leveraging our process and strategies requires an entrepreneur who is smart and can multi-task.
2. Growth Mindset. Our process and strategies are for entrepreneurs who are growth minded and really want to build a large and very valuable business.
3. Available Capital. We don’t raise capital so a client either needs to have their own financial resources, or a personal and professional network that will invest when we’re at that stage in the process. Our ideal client already has, or can raise, $1+ million.
4. Acquisition Focused. The most successful companies we’ve seen over the last 30+ years have substantially increased their valuation by growth through acquisition. Our ideal client has already made at least one acquisition during their career or are prepared to attract the talent that can buy profitable companies once publicly listed, in any sector, in any country.
If an entrepreneur has no interest in growth by acquisition, we require that their business already be profitable and that it be ready to leverage public company growth hacks to grow substantially to become large enough for institutional investors to eventually care.
5. Profitable Business. We want to represent companies that are already profitable, any industry. If a business is not currently profitable, the entrepreneur must have the capital necessary to achieve profitability, or, they must be able to raise $2+ million from their personal or professional networks when we’re at that stage in the process. If a company isn’t profitable and needs ‘someone else’ to raise the funding required to become profitable, our process and strategies aren’t a good fit for you.
6. What does it cost to take a private company public?
It will typically cost $300,00 to $400,000 plus 8% to 10% of the equity to go public by direct listing. Reverse mergers and IPOs cost more to complete than a direct listing.
Our typical client pays less than $25,000 to start the process and then raises capital from their personal network and professional network to pay for the rest. For larger profitable companies, we can bring investment bankers and brokers to raise capital too. If you don’t have $25,000 or access to it, this process isn’t for you.
